In a few months’ time, a new Jurassic World film will be in cinemas, forcing us to once again part with our cash. Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom, to give it its full title, will reunite Hollywood golden-boy Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for some more dinosaur-action, but the big news is that it looks like the folks at LEGO are planning an extra treat to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s original Jurassic Park.
Jurassic Outpost scored a look at some delicious dino-sets that surfaced on Walmart’s U.S. website just yesterday, which look like the control room from the 1993 film (retailing at $39.99), featuring miniature Dr. Grant, Dr. Sattler, Lex, and Tim, as well as a set from the new Jurassic World movie but featuring old school fan-favourite the dilophosaurus. Clever girls (and boys) over at LEGO, aren’t they?

The Dilophosaurus Outpost Attack set, which will cost around $40 Stateside, features the lookout tower and crane, featuring exploding gate and wall functions, crate and baby dilophosaurus, as well as three mini-figures and two dinosaur figures.
The control room and dilophosaurus sets are both said to be exclusive to Walmart in the U.S., and there is no mention as to who they will land with in the UK, if they even do make it across the pond at all. Jurassic Outpost also mentions that there will definitely more additions to the 25th anniversary Jurassic Park celebrations sets with at least one being an exclusive to Toys R’ Us in America. Now that they are officially in administration over here in the UK, who knows where we’ll be able to exchange pound notes for these little bricks if and when they do eventually arrive.
